Weighing solutions with EtherNet interface based on the EtherNet/IP protocol are offered by Eilersen. Later this year, the interface will also be available with PROFINET protocol. The solutions are based on the company's patented load cells which tolerate shocks, torsion, sideloads and overloads. These features eliminate the need for mounting kits and reduce the costs for installation and maintenance. The load cells are produced in stainless steel and hermetically sealed to IP68 which together with the robustness ensures a long product lifetime. The load cells are available in capacities up to 500 ton.
