Two-wire ultrasonic transmitter

The Echotel 355 two-wire, loop-powered, noncontact ultrasonic transmitter measures liquid level, volume and open channel flow. This low-cost, integral mount unit features a 60kHz ultrasonic transducer and advanced digital signal processing to reliably measure out to a 6m maximum range. The device can be configured locally, with the menu-driven four-push buttonLCD display, or remotely, with HART digital communications or PACTware. The integral mount electronics are housed in either a cast aluminum housing or Lexan thermoplastic housing.The intelligent electronics analyze the ultrasonic echo profile, apply temperature compensation, reject echoes from false targets, and then processes the true echo from the liquid surface. This results in a reliable measurement even when applications difficulties like turbulence and false echoes exist. Volume applications and open channel flow configurations are easily configured.
