Trescal, a global leader in calibration services, announced that it has acquired the Italian service provider Quality Service to gain entry to the Italian life science market and reinforce its geographic coverage. Quality Service represents 4.5M€ in sales and employs 30 people.
Founded in 1996, Quality Service provides accredited calibration, qualification and validation services to major players in the life science as well as food and beverage industries. Its offices, near Venice and Pescara, cover northern and central Italy. Quality Service will add capabilities in pipettes, scale, volume while improving existing temperature and humidity scopes in Trescal Italy.
