Spring-supported seals

These elastic sealing elements combine high-quality plastics resistant to chemicals (PTFE, PCT-FE, UHMWPE, PEEK, PI, PAI etc.) with stainless steel. The covering is made of an appropriate plastic, which is supported by a stainless steel spring. The spring offers a flexible adjustment to the sealing surfaces, adjusts cold flow and wear, results in low sealing forces and secures a durable elastic return spring. Several sealing variants and seal types are available, which can be used with the most diverse installation positions. The seals are tested regarding heat and compressive loads as well as in long-term applications The main fields of application can be found in the chemical industry/process engineering for all kinds of pumps, compressors, centrifuges, mixers for aggressive media and high temperatures, valves, measuring and controlling instruments, mechanical axial face seals, mixing plants, cryogenic, high-vacuum plants, filling installations, dry ice plants.
