WEROCK Technologies expands its product portfolio with two rugged tablets with the Android operating system. The Rocktab S508 (8-inch display) and Rocktab S510 (10-inch display) models from the Rocktab S500 series are now available with either Windows 11 or Android 12. Whether for digitizing operations, accelerating warehouse processes, analyzing machines and vehicles, navigating to job sites or in manufacturing - the Rocktab series promises reliable performance in all industries. The industrial tablets are certified IP65 waterproof and dustproof and meet military standard MIL-STD-810H for smooth operation in harsh conditions such as dust, dirt, rain, snow and extreme temperatures from -20°C to +60°C. They can even withstand drops from heights of up to 1.2 meters and strong vibrations in vehicles. The devices feature scratch-resistant screens with gesture-enabled touchscreens that allow intuitive operation. Despite their robustness, the models of the Rocktab S500 series are very compact with a depth of around 2 cm and enable comfortable working.
The new models are equipped with an 8-core processor with up to 2.2 GHz, 8 GB RAM and 128 GB integrated storage. The chip based on the highly efficient TSMC N6 (6nm-class) chip production process enables high performance with leading energy efficiency. The tablets come with Android 12 ex-factory. The modern operating system features a completely redesigned user interface that can be personalized and offers new privacy features. The tablets' wide range of functions enables their versatile use in different scenarios: Even in the standard configuration, the rugged computers offer full-fledged USB ports, front and rear cameras, mobile 4G LTE Internet, Bluetooth, WLAN and GPS. Optionally, the devices can also be equipped with a 2D barcode scanner, Gigabit Ethernet or a serial interface.
