Oilgear manufactures a complete range of hydraulic components, control panels and accessories. Its products are popular across many markets including marine, oil and gas and defence, where its experienced design engineers are able to develop bespoke packages which are renowned for offering efficient performance and long lasting reliability. Its complete range of components and engineering knowledge will now be available to all Precision Technology customers through the distribution agreement.

This arrangement opens up an array of new, high quality technology to us as well as almost 100 years of design knowledge. We expect that the most popular components will be the smaller valves and variable displacement pump, but we are doing more work with industrial companies, so I’m sure that we’ll be taking advantage of the entire Oilgear range.”

The distributor agreement between the two companies includes supply of standard and customised components, design and installation services and ongoing maintenance contracts to ensure that all packages continue to perform efficiently throughout their operating life.
