Hose sleeves

Hose accessories that can increase the life of braided hoses. Adding cost reducing heat shrink protects the braid from dirt, contamination and overall, wear and tear. It can also be used as a color code for identifying hoses and eliminating confusion, which is expensive and sometimes dangerous. Unlike a heat shrink sleeve, which requires shrinking down over the hose, a Fire Sleeve is sized to fit. They maintain the outer hose temperature for safer operator handling. Supplied in vibrant red and manufactured from compounded silicone rubber and bulk fiberglass, they also act as a barrier to flame and provide longterm mechanical and environmental protection. Cost for hose enhancing accessories is minimal compared to the savings gained by keeping the hose operating longer in the field. Enhancements are available for hoses sized from ¼” up to 1 ¼”. Sleeve accessories may be purchased separately, allowing customers to value-up their existing hose.
