The Pepperl+Fuchs HMI range offers thin client devices that have been specially designed for the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries, for example the remote monitors in the VisuNet series. These devices make it possible to control the process directly while maintaining centralized management. At the same time, they provide efficient scalability for easy implementation in highly regulated environments.
Using the pre-installed VisuNet RM Shell and VisuNet Control Center software, all thin clients belonging to a production unit can be centrally configured, updated, and monitored, reducing downtime, increasing cybersecurity, and simplifying maintenance.
The modular VisuNet FLX series is GMP-compliant and designed for cleanrooms and hygiene areas. The devices have IP66 degree of protection and are certified for use in hazardous areas in accordance with ATEX/IECEx Zone 2/22 and Div. 2. An optionally integrated RFID reader enables secure and efficient user authentication.
