FAFNIR GmbH has further strengthened its position within the German market and is pleased to announce the contract win to supply automatic tank gauging products to the BayWa Energy Group across stations in Germany.
The deal involves supplying the BayWa network with VISY Stick level sensors and SECON-X; FAFNIR's new universal data collection platform. The roll-out of the new platform will begin in August, 2013 and will be rolled out across 100 sites of the BayWa network. The installation is due for completion at the end of 2013.
Gaining insight and control of wet stock across the fuelling station is increasingly important, with the possibility of under delivery, leaks and theft; station owners require full visibility of their network, anytime, anywhere. BayWa had a unique requirement.
With some sites completely unmanned, station owners could not rely on the usual visual display of an automatic tank gauge onsite, requiring remote visibility. SECON-X enables access to all tank levels and alarms from any web enable device including smart phone, tablet and PC.
"We at FAFNIR understand the value of adaptation and flexibility. With our in-house experience and development expertise, we pride ourselves on being able to provide fully customised solutions that not only fit with the customer's current architecture, but adapt and serve to complete it." Says Lars Weidemeyer, Director of Sales, FAFNIR.
FAFNIR manufacture an extensive range of sensors and systems for the petrol station environment including full automatic tank gauging products, level measurement, overfill prevention and safety devise monitoring systems; designed to protect our customers business' and the environment.
