The MF420-C gas measuring system determines the concentration of a toxic gas or vapour in the air mixture with a specific electrochemical sensor. Processing and output of the measured values (linear current output, 4-20 mA) are integrated in the system. Standard measuring ranges and substances are: ammonia, 0-100 ppm; chlorine, 0-10 ppm; carbon monoxide, 0-300 ppm; oxygen, 0-21 vol%; nitrogen dioxide, 0-50 ppm; nitrogen monoxide, 0-50 ppm; hydrogen sulphide, 0-50 ppm. MF420-C-H2 contains a solid electrolyte sensor specific for hydrogen. Measuring range is from 0.01 to 2 vol%. T
he MF420-P and MF420-H gas measuring systems determine the concentration of explosive gases and vapours in the air mixture either with a pellistor or a semiconductor sensor. They detect methane, hydrogen, propane, alcohol and benzene within a measuring range from 0 to 99.9% or from 0 to 50% LEL.
MF420-Ex is the explosion-proof version (ATEX100a) and is equipped either with a pellistor or an electrochemical sensor.
