The new WIKA TF-2000 cable temperature probe provides reliable temperature readings for refrigeration, heating and heat pumps. The temperature probe can easily withstand frequent changes between thawing and freezing points as the measuring element is overmoulded with plastic, making it dustproof and waterproof. In addition, quick-release mounting brackets enable time-saving installation. The thermometer can be mechanically stabilised with a stainless steel sleeve. This ensures increased measurement reliability in, for example, buffer tanks for heating and hot water.
The TF-2000 is completely sealed. It has an IP68 rating. No condensation or vapour can enter the measuring element, even without the optional probe sleeve. This minimises the risk of failure, ensures measuring accuracy, optimises service life and protects investment. The TF-2000 with square brass sleeve can be mounted in seconds using quick-release brackets without the need to solder copper tubing. This saves time and money on instruments with multiple temperature measurement points. The brass construction of the square tube ensures good heat transfer and prevents contact corrosion. There is no need to apply thermal compound - nor does this compromise accuracy or response time.
