For processes that have the potential to obscure the Bond-Rite CLAMP LED with product deposits, the Bond-Rite REMOTE provides an option of mounting an indicator station at a safe, but visible distance. Two enclosure options are available for the indicator station. The standard GRP enclosure is suitable for general processing environments, whereas the stainless steel enclosure caters for corrosive or hygienic environments. The I.S. rated battery provides up to 6 months of power for equipment earthed for up to an average of 6 hours per day. For process applications requiring earthing for more than 6 hours per day, the Bond-Rite REMOTE EP utilises a 230V or 110V mains supply to power the monitoring circuit of each indicator station. The IS current is provided by the power supply which is located in the ‘non-hazardous’ area with indicator stations mounted in the zoned (classified) area. The stainless steel version powers up to 4 Bond-Rite REMOTE EPs simultaneously. The power supply for the static dissipative GRP version can provide continuous power for up to 10 GRP monitoring-indicator stations simultaneously.
