The family business from Lower Saxony was founded in 1864 by the manufacturer and business graduate Wilhelm Meyer and initially focussed on the manufacture and repair of agricultural machinery and equipment. What was once purely a machine factory has long since become a global player with over 50 subsidiaries worldwide and around 2,500 employees.
A history of Innovation
In 1868, AERZEN built the first European positive displacement blower based on the Roots principle - laying the foundation for an unrivalled success story. Initially, the packages were only a by-product and were used in the company's field machines. Thanks to the wide range of applications, however, demand increased rapidly and the positive displacement blowers from AERZEN conquered the world. As early as the beginning of the 20th century, Aerzener Maschinenfabrik was considered one of the world's most efficient blower manufacturers in the mechanical engineering sector. Since then, the innovation pioneer has been shaping technological progress in blower and compressor technology with its high level of solution expertise, its keen sense of customer and market requirements and its comprehensive application expertise.
Premium technologies for all industries
The portfolio includes positive displacement blowers, rotary lobe compressors (AERZEN built the world's first rotary lobe compressor in 2010), screw compressors and turbo blowers - for intake volume flows from 1 to 120,000 m³/h. They are suitable for almost all media and form the centrepieces of countless processes worldwide - be it transporting, aerating, cooling, mixing, drying or packaging.
Whether water and waste water treatment, process gas industry, chemistry and process engineering, pneumatic conveying or food industry: AERZEN knows the application-specific challenges of the individual industries inside out and supports users with bespoke engineering and sustainable high-end solutions.
"For 160 years, our technologies have been the gold standard in the industry and have driven the market forward. We lead the way in the development of innovations and shape the future of industrial process air applications.
